Heritage walk

the last sunday of november 2005 put an useful walk heritage walk. I am yet to know whose
brain child is this heritage walk of old city of Hyderabad. I enjoyed much with a younger
gentle man who guided us through the lanes/bylanes of walled city. The only drawback
is the poor response from youth/old who preferred to be in their warm rugs/blankets
than walking through these historical streets of Hyderabad slowly dieing. I request all those
bloggers interested in such things kindly assemble at northern side of Great charminar sharply
at 7.30 am and look for tourist police to guide to the nearest walk venue. To-day the walk named as shah-ali-banda walk started from rafa-e-am schoolstarted in 1895 still functioning
under the shadow of one banyan tree plus cluster of other old buildings. The jali ki masjid
the beautiful tomb complex built in the similar fashion Paiga tombs lime jali work was encroached and unmindful to its heritage value a new construction taking toll as the new
building damaging the entire structre the elderly priest/in charge who ever can do nothing
to prevent this. If any body can do some thing to restore the past glory will be the noble work
keep posting new things
